Organic cotton is grown using methods and materials that have a low impact on the environment, without toxic and persistent pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. Organic production systems ensure that, unlike conventional cotton, it is never genetically modified and does not use highly polluting agrochemicals. The GOTS standard also guarantees that the people that made this are paid living wages and treated properly.
